At present, 2 toll-free phone numbers are operational in the Food and Supply Department from 8 am to 8 pm 12x7 hours to increase transparency and accountability in the public distribution system. The two toll-free numbers are 1967 and 1800-345-5505. Through these two toll-free numbers public can get information about distribution of food grains, digital ration cards and procurement of rice etc. and also can lodge complaint.The complaints received on this toll - free number are registered in helpdesk.wbfood.in portal and sent to the concerned officer for investigation and disposal.People also can lodge complaint directly in this portal.People can see the status of disposal of the complaint from this portal clicking the search button after putting the complaint ID number
